The abstract illustration depicts the mountains that are the backdrop to the dead sea.
Have you noticed that when viewing mountains at a distance they sometimes abtain a seemingly blue-ish hue? this is due to the Reyleigh light scattering effect. The illustration isan extenstion of an ongoing exploration of the hues that can be noticed when looking at desert landscapes at a distance.
The drawing is a part of collection of artwork inspired by the Judean desert and the dead sea.
Printed on 200 gr. textured off white paper.
